The Glen Cove Waterfront Park offers easy access to the water's edge, great views, and lots of trees and shade. This beautiful stretch of waterfront is open to everyone to enjoy.

At the end of Whitesides Dr. (accessed via South Regatta Dr.), there is a large culdesac for those who wish to drive down to our waterfront park.

At the gate a sign indicates that the park is open to all, as it should be, and asks that dog owners clean up after their dogs and keep them on a leash.

This trail heads Southwest towards some nice shady spots along the water.

The undeveloped nature of the park makes it a peaceful place.

A honeybee burrows into a thistle. These grow all over the park, and attract lots of butterflies.

Relaxing along the water's edge, under the shade of a eucalyptus tree. Across the water is the town of Crockett.

Looking to the East, you can see the Carquinez Strait Regional Shoreline park on the right, Mt. Diablo in the distance, and to the left is part of the Benicia State Park hiking area linking Glen Cove with Benicia State Park.

Following another trail to the East brings you to the old Stremmel Mansion. Built in the early 1900's, this building is vacant and uninhabitable. The Glen Cove Waterfront Park Master Plan will bring the park back to its natural state. The invasive, non-native plants, along with the Stremmel structure, will be removed.

Once a place to vacation along the shores of the Carquinez Strait, it seems like nature has engulfed the Stremmel Mansion.

An old stairway still leads from the mansion down to the water's edge.

At the foot of the stairs is a small beach in the center of the cove for which our community is named.

Looking across the water towards the town of Crockett. The Bay Trail, which runs right through the Glen Cove Waterfront Park, will eventually connect with the pedestrian lane of the new Carquinez Bridge, allowing you to walk across the Strait into Crockett.

Come enjoy the scenery and tranquility of our waterfront park. If you want, you can try following a path East out of the waterfront park area that will take you into the new trails linking Glen Cove with Benicia State Park.
